While AndhaDhun is doing good business in China with the crossing of Rs 150 crore mark after releasing in the first week, the director and producer Sriram Raghavan is gearing up for his next thriller. The director has been roped in by producer Ramesh Taurani for another thriller. The details are also kept under the wraps up, but the Taurani also confirmed that has now finalized the project and film will soon go on floors by the end of this year.
According to the report, Taurani said, “Yes, we have signed a new movie with the Sriram last year and had planned to start this film soon after he wrapped up with the film AndhaDhun. He’s a brilliant director who has proved his mettle with time to time. We are all excited and have been meeting on a timely basis for the same.
There is a buzz in the news that the director is going to reunite with his Badlapur actor Varun Dhawan for an upcoming biopic. The movie which has been titled as Ekkis is based on the Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, which is a 21-year-old Indian Army officer who was killed in action at the time of an Indo-Pak of 1971. According to the reports, Raghavan is in the process of finishing the script. The film will be produced by the Dinesh Vijan, who has also produced and directed Badlapur.
