Dedh Ishqiya was a 2104 black comedy-drama directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The film follows the story of ‘Begum Para’ played by Madhuri Dixit while Huma Quereshi played the character of Muniya, Begum Para’s attendant. In the film, Begum Para is the widowed queen of the Majidabad, who organizes a poetry contest so that she can marry the winner of the competition.
