Director Mohit Suri’s Malang, starring Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kunal Kemmu, and Disha Patani within the lead roles, is ruling the box office this weekend. The movie opened up with a collection of 6.50 crore on its first day.
The movie has seen good growth at the box office on day two. According to the sources, there is a 30% hike noticed in the collection on Saturday, which reported to be an outstanding collection of Rs 8.25 crore.
Malang has now scored a collection of ₹ 15.60, away from Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Shikara.
Malang, with its powerful collection at the box office, has been getting blended reviews by the critics.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to social media to share that Malang has been seeing exponential growth on its second day of release. He tweeted- “#Malang witnesses substantial growth on Day 2, despite #Delhi having limited screenings… Should score on Day 3 [Sun] as well… Eyes ₹ 24 cr [+/-] weekend – the highest for #AdityaRoyKapur [solo hero films]… Fri 6.71 cr, Sat 8.89 cr.
