Tips to improve your skin
Believe it or not a proper sleep for 7-9 hrs can do wonders to your skin. According to dermatologists, “Sleep is important for all of the body’s systems and their functioning,” says Judith Hellman, MD, a board-certified dermatologist. “As far as the skin is concerned, lack of sleep causes the stress hormone cortisol to be released, which in turn encourages inflammation in the skin, causing flare-ups in conditions like acne, psoriasis, and even eczema.”
Wash your face before bed, it keeps your skin healthy. Wash with warm water and a cleanser for fresh looking skin. Pre-bed steps like these will prevent pores from plugging into the skin.
Moisturise your skin well before bed. According to Robin Evens “For most people, an emollient-rich moisturizer should be applied after properly cleansing, before bedtime.”
