Vikas Bahl gets a clean chit in sexual harassment allegations by the internal complaints committee of Reliance Entertainment. The ‘Queen’ fame director has been accused by the employer of ‘Phantom Production’. The Phantom production house was later dissolved after the allegations were made on the director. Post the decision of Reliance Entertainment, Vikas Bahl will now reinstate his name as a director of Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Super 30’.
The sexual harassment allegations were subjected to the director in 2018 when Bollywood was witnessing a whole new wave of #MeToo. In the midst of several #MeToo controversies and allegations, a former employee of the Phantom Production accused Vikal Bahl of harassing her sexually. In support of her allegation, Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane issued their statements regarding the complaints of the employer.
“Yes, it is true that the internal complaints committee report has exonerated Vikas Bahl. With the committee clearing Vikas, we don’t have a choice but to reinstate his credit as director of Super 30,” said Shibasish Sarkar, Group CEO of Reliance Entertainment.
Now the allegations made on the director regarding the sexual harassment has been cleared out by the Internal Complaints committee of Reliance Entertainment. Now it is indeed obvious that Vikas Bahl will be credited as a director for his upcoming Hrithik Roshan starrer film ‘Super 30’.
